HP has timed the announcement of the new Pavilion Gaming Desktop coded TG2019-01t to coincide with the annual international exhibition gamescom 0185.
The device, as reflected in the name, belongs to the gaming class. The PC is housed in an elegant black case with green backlighting. Dimensions are 307 Γ 337 Γ 155 mm.
The basis is the Intel Core i7-9700 processor (ninth generation Core). This eight-core chip clocks at 3,0 GHz, with a boost speed of up to 4,7 GHz. The processor operates in tandem with 16 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM.
The storage subsystem combines two drives: a 2 TB hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200 rpm and a PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state module with a capacity of 256 GB.
Graphics processing is the task of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti discrete accelerator with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. To connect monitors there are digital interfaces DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort.
The computer's arsenal includes a gigabit network controller, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, a 5.1 audio codec, four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port. The Windows 10 Home operating system is used.
