The Pavilion Gaming Keyboard 800 is the more affordable of the two. It is built on Cherry MX Red switches, which are characterized by fairly quiet operation and fast response speed. These switches have a stroke of 4 mm and a pressing force of 45 g. It is possible to recognize an unlimited number of simultaneously pressed keys and the absence of fictitious clicks due to support for the n-Key Rollover and Anti-Ghosting functions. And, of course, not without customizable lighting.

The keyboard has a removable wrist rest, due to which the user’s hands should not get tired even during long gaming sessions. The Pavilion Gaming Keyboard 800 measures 448 x 203 x 39mm and weighs 1,2kg. The connection uses a 1,8 m USB cable.

In turn, users of Omen Encoder keyboards will be able to choose between Cherry MX Red and Cherry MX Brown switches. The former, being linear, are characterized by a faster response speed and less tactile response when triggered. The latter are tactile switches, which is why their operation can be felt with your fingers, which ensures greater accuracy. They are also quiet, with 4mm of travel and 45g of actuation force.

For this keyboard, HP also claims the ability to recognize an unlimited number of simultaneously pressed keys thanks to n-Key Rollover and Anti-Ghosting. The Omen Encoder keyboard also comes with customizable backlighting, and the β€œgamer” WASD keys here are different from the rest. It also uses a wired USB connection.
