HP has announced a new portable SSD P500 solid-state drive: a pocket storage device capable of holding 1 TB of information.
The product uses a USB 3.2 Gen1 interface based on a symmetrical USB Type-C connector to connect to a computer. The same port is used for power supply - no additional source is required.
It is alleged that the novelty provides information reading speed up to 420 MB / s in sequential mode. Data can be written at speeds up to 255 MB/s.
The device is enclosed in an aluminum case with dimensions of 79,1 Γ 53,9 Γ 10 mm, and weighs 45,4 g. Customers can choose between four color options - blue, red, gray and silver.
