HP is reportedly announcing the Chromebook x360 12 laptop soon, replacing the current 11-inch model, according to online sources. running Chrome OS.
The novelty will receive a 12,3-inch HD + display with an aspect ratio of 3: 2. There is no word yet on touch control support.
The hardware basis will be the Intel Gemini Lake platform. In particular, the Celeron N4000 processor is mentioned, which contains two computing cores with a clock frequency of 1,1 GHz (rises to 2,6 GHz) and an Intel UHD Graphics 600 graphics accelerator.
The Chromebook x360 12 configuration that has been leaked online includes 4GB of RAM and a 32GB flash drive. Probably other versions will be offered.
It is noted that the new Chromebook will receive a display with relatively narrow frames, due to which it will be comparable in overall dimensions to the 11-inch model.
