HTC, according to online sources, has released a teaser image indicating the imminent announcement of a new smartphone.
The image shows the date of the presentation - June 11. That is, the device should debut on Tuesday next week.
It is not yet clear which device HTC is going to announce. Observers believe that the company may show the world a device designated U19e.
This smartphone is credited with having a Snapdragon 710 processor. The chip combines eight 64-bit Kryo 360 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and an Adreno 616 graphics accelerator.
It is noted that the new smartphone can carry up to 6 GB of RAM on board. The software platform will be the Andriod 9 Pie operating system.
Most likely, the price of a new HTC smartphone will not exceed $200.
According to IDC forecasts, about 1,38 billion smartphones will be sold worldwide this year. If these expectations are met, shipments will be reduced by 1,9% compared to last year.
