Online sources have at their disposal a new piece of unofficial information on the topic of Huawei's entry into the smart TV market.
Π Π°Π½Π΅Π΅ that Huawei will initially offer 55-inch and 65-inch TV panels. The displays for the first model will allegedly be supplied by the Chinese company BOE Technology, for the second - by Huaxing Optoelectronics (a subsidiary of BOE).
There have been rumors that Huawei will make an announcement related to smart TVs in April. But it's already May, and the company is still silent. But information continues to come from unofficial sources.
It is reported, in particular, that before the end of this year, Huawei intends to introduce the world's first smart TV (or several models) with built-in support for fifth-generation mobile communications (5G).
It is alleged that the advanced panel will receive an integrated 5G modem and an 8K display with a resolution of 7680 Γ 4320 pixels. Thus, users will be able to download ultra-high definition content over cellular networks without connecting to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Most likely, Huawei's 5G TV will debut in the fourth quarter. There is no data on the price, but there will obviously not be an affordable panel.
