Huawei Kids Watch 3: Children's smart watch with cellular connectivity

The Chinese company Huawei has introduced a "smart" watch Kids Watch 3, designed specifically for young users.

The basic version of the gadget is equipped with a 1,3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 240 × 240 pixels. Used processor MediaTek MT2503AVE, working in tandem with 4 MB of RAM. The equipment includes a 0,3-megapixel camera, a flash module with a capacity of 32 MB, and a 2G modem for connecting to cellular networks.

The more expensive version of the Kids Watch 3 Pro has a 1,4-inch screen with a resolution of 320 × 320 pixels. In the arsenal of this watch is a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 processor, 4 MB of RAM and 512 MB of flash memory, a camera with a 5-megapixel sensor. The gadget can work in 4G/LTE mobile networks.

Both new items are protected from moisture and dust according to the IP67 standard. There are wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth, a GPS receiver. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 660 mAh.

The devices allow you to make voice calls. Adults will be able to track the location and movements of children through the application on the smartphone.

The price of the Kids Watch 3 model is about $60, the Kids Watch 3 Pro version will cost about $145.
