Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei, has officially unveiled two new smartphones aimed at young users. Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro stand out from many other smartphones in this price category with solid technical specifications and beautiful design. The price of devices starts from $168.
Honor Play 4T is equipped with a 6,39-inch display with a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera, which occupies 90% of the front surface of the device. The new product is based on the 12-nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset. In the basic configuration, the smartphone is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
Honor Play 4T, like the improved Play 4T Pro, has a triple rear camera consisting of a 48-megapixel main module, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device is available in blue and black colors.
Honor Play 4T Pro has a 6,3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. A fingerprint sensor is built into the screen. The cutout for the front camera, like the base model, is teardrop-shaped.
The processor in Play 4T Pro is more powerful. It uses the Kirin 810, which, unfortunately, does not have support for 5G networks. But it is manufactured using a modern 7nm process technology. The device's graphics chip supports Kirin Gaming+ technology, which can significantly improve the gaming experience. The chipset contains a single-core neural module built on the DaVinci architecture, which significantly increases the speed of artificial intelligence operations. The device will be available in versions with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in flash memory. The Pro version also has an additional white color option.
Both devices run on Magic UI OS, a modified version of Android without Google services. The battery of both smartphones has a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 22,5 W, thanks to which the devices can be charged by 58% in half an hour.
The Honor Play 4T will start at $168, and the basic Honor Play 4T Pro will cost $211.
