Huawei has officially confirmed the development of its own operating systems for both smartphones and computers. This will allow them to be used if the trade war with the United States goes to a more serious level, and the company is deprived of access to American operating systems.

The company has reportedly developed a proprietary OS, confirming earlier rumors and leaks on the topic. Consumer business head Richard Yu Chengdong stated that this will be a "Plan B" in case of inability to use AndroidHe also noted that such a decision would be an extreme measure.
"We don't expect them to be used, and frankly, we don't want to use them," Yu said. "We fully support our partners' operating systems—we love using them, and so do our customers. Android и Windows will always remain our first choice."
So far, the technical features of the systems have not been announced, however, most likely, these will be some kind of assemblies based on Linux и AndroidAlternatively, it could be a fork of Fuchsia OS. It's unlikely that the Chinese are developing a universal operating system from scratch. Currently, all of the company's smartphones use the OS. Android, and computers have OS Windows.
We also note that earlier the United States called on Germany and other European countries to refuse cooperation with Huawei. This is due to security reasons. In turn, the company filed a lawsuit against the US government in an attempt to overturn a US federal ban on the supply of equipment to federal agencies under the National Defense Act (NDAA). How this will end is not yet known.
