Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei is thinking about a new smartphone that will include an unusual multi-module camera.
Information about the device, according to the resource LetsGoDigital, published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
As you can see in the images, the rear camera of the smartphone will be made in the form of a round block with a truncated left side. Apparently, the composition will include four optical modules.
Patent illustrations indicate the presence of a frameless display. At the top, you can see a cutout for the front camera. It is possible that a double module will be used.
Currently, a smartphone with the proposed design exists only in patent documentation. Whether Huawei plans to release a commercial device with the described camera system is not reported.
