As part of the Watch GT series of smart watches, Huawei has released two new models called Active Edition and Elegant Edition. The Active Edition has a 46mm dial, the Elegant Edition has a 42mm ceramic bezel in Magic Pearl White and Tahitian Magic Black Pearl. Round AMOLED displays are used: in the first case, the diameter is 1,39 ”with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels, in the second we are talking about a 1,2” screen displaying 390 × 390 pixels.
With most of the watch's features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, up to 90 minutes of training per week, and enabled notifications, the Elegant Edition model can last a week on a single charge. The Active Edition version is more durable - its battery lasts for about two weeks, according to the manufacturer's data.
While doing sports, the smart watch of the Huawei Watch GT series recognizes a large number of activities, and the Active Edition and Elegant Edition have an additional Triathlon mode. Its main advantage is that it captures all three types of activities in this sport - swimming, cycling and running. The announced retail price of Huawei Watch GT Elegant Edition is 229 euros, the Active Edition model is priced at 249 euros.
