I Expect You To Die is a hit on Oculus Quest, grossing over $2 million

In September 2018, more than six months before the launch of Quest, shooter I Expect You To Die had already earned $3 million from PC and PSVR VR headsets. The game was released on PC in late 2016 and then made its way to PSVR in early 2017. In other words, Quest brought in $12 million in 2 months, while versions for other platforms brought in $3 million in 24 months.

I Expect You To Die joins Moss and Pistol Whip in the list of games that have earned over $2 million from Quest. Facebook reported that more than 10 projects have already crossed this psychological threshold on the discussed standalone headset. UploadVR, citing a number of developers, says that Oculus Quest game sales are noticeably higher than for other platforms. This headset democratizes VR with self-sufficiency, good motion tracking, and affordability.

In I Expect You To Die, the player is presented with a series of virtual puzzles in the style of a secret agent quest. Several free levels have been added to the game since the launch of Quest last year. According to UploadVR, the Quest version of I Expect You To Die is the best way to get started with the game. Schell Games is currently working on the VR game Until You Fall, which is in early access on PC and is preparing to launch on Quest and PSVR.

By the way, just a few days ago, Fast Travel Games confirmed that its debut VR game, Apex Construct, had surpassed the 100 sales milestone across all platforms. The company indicated that about half of the circulation came from the launch of the Quest version.
