ID-Cooling SE-224-RGB: All-in-One RGB Cooling System

ID-Cooling has introduced a new cooling system for processors called SE-224-RGB. As you might guess from the name, one of the main features of the novelty is the presence of customizable RGB backlighting.

The new ID-Cooling cooling system is built on four copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The tubes are assembled in an aluminum base and will be able to directly contact the processor cover. On the tubes there is a not too large aluminum radiator 52 mm wide. The dimensions of the SE-224-RGB cooling system, together with the fan, are 127 Γ— 77 Γ— 156 mm, and it weighs 785 g.

A 120 mm fan built on a double-row ball bearing is responsible for blowing here. Fan speed can be controlled by PWM method from 900 to 2000 rpm. At the same time, the maximum airflow reaches 56,5 CFM, the maximum static pressure is 1,99 mm of water column, and the noise level does not exceed 31,5 dBA.

The fan, as well as the radiator cap, are equipped with customizable RGB lighting. The backlight can be connected to the motherboard and controlled using a utility from the board manufacturer. And for those who don't have a dedicated backlight connector, ID-Cooling has equipped the SE-224-RGB with its own built-in controller.

The ID-Cooling SE-224-RGB cooling system is compatible with all current Intel and AMD processor sockets, except for the oversized Socket TR4. The manufacturer claims that the new product is able to cope with the cooling of processors with a TDP of up to 150 watts. The cost and start date of sales of the new cooler, unfortunately, are not specified.
