During the presentation at QuakeCon 2019, the developers from the id Software studio presented new information about Doom Eternal: visitors were shown a fresh online mode and a unique demon.
The mode shown is an asymmetric online battle Battlemode, in which two players control powerful demons (there will be a choice of five), and one - the Executioner of Doom (Doom Slayer). Demons are not only strong, but they can also call on their smaller counterparts to help. In the process, they can be developed, discovering new skills. Battles will unfold on six maps, and over time, id Software promises to add both new locations and additional demons.
The new hellspawn is Doomhunter - the torso of a huge horned demon on a robotic flying platform - armed with a powerful cannon, missiles and a pair of chainsaws.
Recall that in Doom Eternal, the demons still got to the Earth and practically destroyed it. The main character will have to go on a new bloody journey through various locations to exterminate monsters and save humanity. The shooter will be released on November 22 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
