Acer has unveiled the Nitro XV2019 family of monitors for desktop gaming at IFA 3 in Berlin, Germany.
The series includes four models. These are, in particular, the 27-inch Nitro XV273U S and Nitro XV273 X panels. The first has a WQHD resolution (2560 Γ 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, the second has Full HD (1920 Γ 1080 pixels) and 240 Hz.
In addition, the 24,5-inch Nitro XV253Q X and Nitro XV253Q P Full HD monitors were announced. They have refresh rates of 240Hz and 144Hz, respectively.
The new products use NVIDIA G-Sync technology, which is responsible for improving the smoothness of the gameplay. Monitors default to Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) when connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series graphics cards to minimize lag and eliminate tearing.
Claimed to be 99% coverage of the sRGB color space. The panels are DisplayHDR 400 certified. Acer Agile-Splendor, Adaptive-Sync and Visual Response Boost (VRB) technologies are implemented, contributing to a noticeable improvement in image quality in all operating modes.
Finally, Acer's VisionCare suite of tools, including Flickerless, BlueLightShield and ComfyView, are mentioned to improve comfort during long gaming sessions and reduce eye strain.
The price of new products will be from 329 to 649 euros.
