GOODRAM is showcasing high performance IRDM Ultimate X SSDs for high performance desktops at IFA 2019 in Berlin.
Solutions made in the M.2 form factor use the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. The manufacturer talks about compatibility with the AMD Ryzen 3000 platform.
The new products use Toshiba BiCS4 3D TLC NAND flash memory microchips and the Phison PS3111-S16 controller. A radiator is provided for heat dissipation.
The IRDM Ultimate X SSD family includes products with a capacity of 500 GB, as well as 1 TB and 2 TB. The data reading speed for all versions reaches 5000 MB / s. The write speed is up to 2500 MB / s for the younger modification and up to 4500 MB / s for the other two.
Read/write IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) is rated at 550/000 for the 400 GB drive and 000/500 for the 750 and 000 TB versions.
The new items will go on sale in early November. The price will be from 210 to 650 US dollars.
