Acer, during a presentation at the IFA 2019 exhibition in Berlin, announced a new generation of thin and light portable computer Swift 5.
The laptop uses the tenth generation Intel Core processor from the Ice Lake platform. In particular, the Core i7-1065G7 chip with four cores (eight threads) that operate at a frequency of 1,3 GHz to 3,9 GHz can be used.
The novelty is one of the lightest 14-inch laptops on the market: the weight is about 990 grams. Applied display format Full HD with a resolution of 1920 Γ 1080 pixels. For the graphics subsystem, an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete accelerator is available.
The laptop can carry up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB NVMe SSD.
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless support mentioned. In addition, there is a Thunderbolt 3 port based on a symmetrical USB Type-C connector.
