Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel took the stage during The Game Awards 2019 to announce Fast & Furious Crossroads, a new game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One based on the film series of the same name, known in Russian box office like Fast and Furious. The project involves both stars from the blockbuster series of the same name, along with Tyrese Gibson (Tyrese Gibson).
The game is being developed by the creators of Project Cars at Slightly Mad and published by Bandai Namco. It's not too clear from the trailer what the gameplay will look like, but given the legacy of the film series, it's safe to say that the gameplay will involve driving fast cars in close proximity to explosions. Unfortunately, story races do not shine with graphics and animation quality.
Bandai Namco's press release describes Fast & Furious Crossroads as a vehicle-themed team game. Players will travel the streets of exotic locations and delve into the dark world of international espionage, performing high-speed heists and performing stunts to overcome a new threat.
Also spotted at Fast & Furious Crossroads are American John Wick 3 actresses Asia Kate Dillon and Sonequa Martin-Green from The Walking Dead. The game is expected to launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4 in May 2020.
