TheRealSpidersGeorg_ turned an everyday kitchen appliance into a controller at the end of September, however, no news of progress, let alone video evidence, has yet been received.

Controlling the game with a toaster is not easy: the temperature controls are responsible for the movement of the character, and the levers for lowering bread into the slots are responsible for attacking and using healing flasks.

Due to the limited control of the camera, the most problematic bosses for TheRealSpidersGeorg_ so far have been the Deacons of the Deep and the Guardians of the Abyss: due to the features of the “gamepad”, the daredevil often missed the enemy.

“I had no idea how important it was to be able to look left and right until I encountered the Guardians of the Abyss. In the second phase, I need to roll to the side, otherwise I’ll fry (like toast, haha),” explained TheRealSpidersGeorg_.

Adding to the difficulty is the choice of weapons: TheRealSpidersGeorg_ is getting close to the middle of the story, and is still using a relatively weak Irithyll sword: "I'll have to fix that."
