Minecraft aficionado Janisko has spent the last two years recreating Chernobyl in this popular sandbox. The first map was called Chernobyl Universe - it is designed to be played in survival mode and aims to reflect the real Chernobyl zone as accurately as possible.
Janisko also promised that there will be maps based on the STALKER series of games "I'm going to recreate both Chernobyl and other southernmost regions of the zone, as well as the Belarusian part and even the town of Polesskoe, for example, to put this in the basis of the Stalker's Dead City map" , — wrote the author on the resource Planet Minecraft.

The author also asks to be informed of any information about the Chernobyl zone that is not publicly available by e-mail (
