Acer XV272XU Gaming Monitor Offers 165Hz Frequency, FreeSync and G-Sync Support

Acer's range of gaming monitors has today been expanded with the new 27-inch model XV272XU. As a basis, the new product uses an AHVA (IPS-type) matrix produced by AUO Optronics with a QHD resolution of 2560 Γ— 1440 pixels.

The XV272XU monitor has a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms. To improve the smoothness of the displayed image, Acer has endowed its new product with support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies.

The picture quality of the 8-bit panel is ensured by standard viewing angles of 178 horizontal and vertical for the matrix used, as well as 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. The monitor's contrast ratio is 1000:1. The presence of VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification completes the matter.

The stand used in the kit makes it possible to change the angles of tilt and rotation of the display by 20 and 90 degrees, respectively, as well as adjust the height in relation to the table surface with a range of 120 mm. The monitor is equipped with a VESA 100 mount, allowing you to install it on a suitable bracket.

The Acer XV272XU model also includes two 2 W speakers, four USB 3.0 Type-A connectors, one USB Type-C, two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, and a combined 3,5 mm audio jack.

Acer promises to release this model for sale in the third or fourth quarter of this year. The estimated cost of the Acer XV272XU will be $770.
