In June 2018, ASUS announced the ROG Phone gaming smartphone. About a year later, in July 2019, the ROG Phone II debuted (shown in the first image). And now the third generation game phone is being prepared for release.

According to network sources, a mysterious ASUS smartphone with the code designation I003DD appeared on a number of sites. Under this cipher, presumably, the ROG Phone III model is hiding.

Data from the popular Geekbench benchmark indicates that the device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The chip combines eight Kryo 585 cores with a clock speed of up to 2,84 GHz and an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator.

The amount of RAM is indicated in the amount of 8 GB. The Android 10 operating system is used as a software platform. The device is credited with supporting fifth-generation mobile networks (5G).

In addition, the I003DD smartphone was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (2,4 and 5 GHz bands) and Wi-Fi Direct technology.

According to rumors, the new game phone will receive a 120-Hz screen and a powerful battery. The announcement may take place next summer.
