Gaming smartphones have become a new category in their own right, with many manufacturers launching their own models, some of which are now second and third generation devices. One of these is the Black Shark brand, owned by Xiaomi, which already offers several devices and is now gearing up to launch the Black Shark 3. Only that this device can get up to 16 GB of RAM, as now a new leak has appeared on the Web that reveals the characteristics of its display.
The Black Shark 3 will feature a 2K resolution display and a high refresh rate of 120Hz, according to the leaked data. Earlier it was reported that the smartphone will be based on the recently introduced flagship single-chip system. . The smartphone has been certified for radio transmission under the model number KLE-A0, which revealed support for dual mode operation in 5G networks.
If the mentioned report is confirmed, then the Black Shark 3 gaming smartphone will be the first with 16 GB of RAM. So far, the most advanced memory configuration offered by any smartphone on the market is 12 GB of RAM paired with high-speed UFS drives of various sizes.
The upcoming phone will be the successor to the Black Shark 2 Pro, introduced back in July last year. That device was equipped with a 6,39-inch FHD + screen, a Snapdragon 855+ processor, a 4000 mAh battery and support for high-speed 27-W charging. It seems that all the basic characteristics of the new model will be improved: in particular, it was recently reported that the Black Shark 3 can get a 4700 mAh battery.
