In May-June, Lenovo will begin selling new gaming laptops from the Legion family - the Y740 and Y540 models, as well as the Y7000p and Y7000.
All portable computers in the maximum configuration carry the ninth generation Intel Core i7 processor. The video subsystem uses an NVIDIA discrete graphics accelerator.
In the Legion Y740 family, updated laptops with 15- and 17-inch displays appeared. The screen corresponds to the Full HD format (1920 Γ 1080 pixels), and its refresh rate can reach 144 Hz. The top versions are equipped with a GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics card and 32 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM. Implemented multi-color backlight.
The Legion Y540 series also includes 15" and 17" Full HD versions. However, these computers are inferior to the Legion Y740 models in terms of graphics performance: the maximum configuration includes the GeForce RTX 2060 adapter.
The 15-inch Legion Y7000p and Legion Y7000 laptops are equipped with a Full HD display, while the second of these models has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The top configuration provides for the GeForce RTX 2060 accelerator.
All notebooks are equipped with an SSD and Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless adapter. The operating system is Windows 10.
As for the cost of new portable computers, it will be from 930 US dollars in the basic configuration.
