Indian budget smartphone Infinix Hot 8 received 4/64 GB, triple camera and 5000 mAh battery

Infinix introduced its new budget smartphone Hot 8 in India. The device has a 6,52″ HD+ screen with a drop-shaped cutout for the camera and thin frames: 1,9 mm on the sides and 2,5 mm on the top. At the same time, a rather impressive “chin” remained - in general, the screen occupies 90,3% of the front edge.

The smartphone is based on last year's MediaTek Helio A22 processor for low-cost smartphones, offering 8 slow Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz and a PowerVR GE8320 video core. The device is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of main memory, expandable via a microSD slot. Moreover, the latter does not take the place of the second SIM card.

Photo capabilities are represented by an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera with two additional sensors for blurring the background and shooting in low light. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back. The charging capacity of the battery reaches 5000 mAh, which, coupled with a weak processor, promises a very long battery life.
