The Xbox One interface is now even more similar to the PS4 shell

Microsoft start rolling out the redesigned Xbox One Dashboard to all consoles. This is the company's third redesign, and the current version is quite similar to the PlayStation 4's screen.

The update allows you to add and remove items, includes a small number of recently launched games and applications, the ability to quickly navigate to the Xbox Game Pass, Mixer and Microsoft Store tabs, and notification settings. The latter can be adjusted so that they do not overlap anything important.

Finally, there are differences between icons for full games, demos and trials. You can also view animated GIFs and images sent from the Xbox apps for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 in conversations.

It should be noted that the look and layout is minimalist and somewhat similar to the look and feel of an early version of Windows 10 X. The update is numbered 10.0.18363.9135 and all consoles will receive it automatically, although the deployment process itself may take some time.

Thus, the software giant is actively trying to improve its console on the back of PS4's success. On the eve of the appearance of new generation consoles, this looks quite justified.
