iPad Pro may get USB mouse support

Network sources report that with the release of the iOS 13 software platform, which should take place in the second half of this year, the iPad Pro may acquire support for a USB mouse, which will make the tablet even more functional.

iPad Pro may get USB mouse support

The introduction of USB mouse support suggests that Apple is listening to criticism from users who say that the operating system used does not have a wide enough range of functions. Using a touch display to interact with a device is not always convenient, so integrating the ability to use a mouse seems quite logical.

Powerful iPad Pros are equipped with a USB Type-C connector and support the connection of some external devices. The developers say that the tablet can act as the main device, since it is quite powerful and compact. If the rumors turn out to be true and the iPad Pro allows the use of a USB mouse, then perhaps the device will be able to attract the attention of new buyers who have been missing this feature.

It is worth noting that the possible appearance of USB mouse support in the iPad Pro has not been confirmed by Apple officials. In addition, it remains unclear whether the tablet will support a wireless mouse or whether the changes will only affect a wired connection. Probably, all these questions will become clearer at the annual WWDC exhibition, during which the iOS 13 platform should be presented.
