Frictional Games Studio announced to open source their games Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs under the GPLv3 license.
Source already available on GitHub, and in one of the repositories already Appeared the first merge request with a build fix for Linux.
The source codes also contain a level editor.
Π news on their website, the developers say that this does not mean that the game suddenly became free. They ask you to think of this release as "free speech" rather than "free beer."
