Jonsbo CR-1000: budget cooling solution with RGB lighting

Jonsbo has introduced a new air cooling system for processors, called CR-1000. The novelty is a classic tower-type cooler and stands out only for its pixel (addressable) RGB backlight.

Jonsbo CR-1000 is built on four U-shaped copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm, which are assembled in an aluminum base and can directly contact the processor cover. A not very large aluminum radiator was placed on the tubes. A decorative aluminum cover with RGB lighting is installed on top of the heatsink, which also covers the ends of the heat pipes and participates in heat dissipation.

A 120mm fan with PWM control is responsible for blowing the radiator. It is capable of spinning at speeds from 700 to 1800 rpm, generating an airflow of up to 66,81 CFM, and at the same time its noise level does not exceed 37,2 dBA. The fan is equipped with a light. Unfortunately, there is no support for backlight synchronization and the ability to control it - the fan and radiator cap will shimmer in different colors on their own. By the way, the fan blades are removable, which makes it easy to clean it from dust.

The Jonsbo CR-1000 cooling system is compatible with most current Intel and AMD processor sockets, except for the larger LGA 20xx and Socket TR4. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify the maximum TDP level that the new product can handle. Note that the dimensions of the new cooling system are 155 Γ— 75 Γ— 130 mm, and it weighs 610 g.

Unfortunately, neither the cost nor the start date of sales of the Jonsbo CR-1000 cooling system is specified.
