Kalypso Media and Realmforge have announced the release date for Spacebase Startopia, an economic strategy. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 23, 2020. On the Nintendo Switch, players will have to wait until 2021 for release.
Earlier this week Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios of a closed beta testing of Spacebase Startopia on PC, which can only be accessed by pre-ordered games from the Kalypso Store. You can purchase edition of the project for $42,99, while (with digital soundtrack and bonus content) will cost $46,99.
The beta version of Spacebase Startopia is reportedly available in English and German. It includes tutorial maps, two single-player missions, a preview sandbox mode with random settings, fifteen rooms, and three tech trees. The list of available content will be updated as we approach the release date of the project.
Spacebase Startopia is a game about managing an entertainment space station. It includes elements of an economic simulator, strategy and real-time battles. You have to create a paradise for representatives of numerous civilizations who want to visit your station. However, some of its sectors are overrun by hostile creatures that you will have to deal with. The game will offer a story campaign with ten tasks, as well as multiplayer and sandbox mode.
