Chinese company Vivo has officially unveiled the mid-range smartphone S1, which will go on sale on April 1 for an estimated price of $340.
The device is equipped with a frameless display with a diagonal of 6,53 inches. A Full HD+ (2340 Γ 1080 dots) format panel with no notch or hole has been applied. The screen occupies 90,95% of the frontal area of ββthe case.
The selfie camera is made in the form of a retractable periscope module: a 24,8-megapixel sensor is involved. The main triple camera combines modules with 12 million (f / 1,7), 8 million (f / 2,2, wide-angle optics) and 5 million (f / 2,4) pixels. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The computing load fell on the shoulders of the eight-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor with a frequency of up to 2,1 GHz. The chip functions in tandem with 6 GB of RAM. The flash drive holds 128 GB of information.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth wireless modules, a GPS receiver, a Micro-USB port, a 3,5mm headphone jack and a microSD slot. Power is provided by a fairly powerful battery with a capacity of 3940 mAh.
The smartphone runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie. Buyers will be able to choose between Lake Blue (blue) and Pink (pink) color versions.
