Humble Bundle and Mega Crit Games have announced that card roguelike Slay the Spire, released on PC in January, will be available for PlayStation 4 on May 21.
Slay the Spire is a mixture of collectible card game and roguelike genres. In it you need to build your own deck, fight bizarre monsters, find powerful artifacts and defeat the Spire. So far the project has two main characters, more than two hundred cards and one hundred items. Levels are generated procedurally.
βChoose your cards wisely! On your way to conquering the Spire, you will come across hundreds of cards that you can add to your deck. Select cards that interact best with each other to be able to make your way to the top. With each new foray into the Spire, the path to the top changes. Choose the path full of dangers, or take the path of least resistance. Each time you will encounter different enemies, different maps, different relics and even different bosses! Powerful artifacts called relics are found throughout the Spire. These relics affect the interaction of cards and will increase the power of your deck. However, keep in mind that their price is not calculated only in goldβ¦β the description says.
Slay the Spire has also been announced for Nintendo Switch and is due to release on that platform in the first half of 2019, but there is no exact release date yet.
