Sony Interactive Entertainment and its developer Bend have unveiled a fresh trailer for the post-apocalyptic zombie adventure Days Gone (in Russian localization - "Life after"), which will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 console. This is a cinematic television commercial that does not reflect the real game process.
The trailer shows distraught biker Deacon St. John, a former criminal and bounty hunter, trying to get over the loss of his wife and move on in the realm of death that the American Northwest has become. βThere is one bullet. Who to shoot? In the strong? Into the weak? Hopeless? They will come for you. They can't be stopped. There is one bulletβ¦β the protagonist asks himself.
The video itself shows how a wild beast attacks Deacon and knocks him off his bike, how he participates in hand-to-hand combat and shootout with bandits on the high road, and how he encounters a banshee - a freak who sets a whole crowd of ordinary dead on the main character ... The same the last bullet would probably have come in handy if the biker had not hesitated ...
In Days Gone, a global epidemic has caused enormous damage to humanity, and zombies (freaks in this universe) and just villains continue to exterminate the survivors. A lively and dangerous open world is promised with majestic forests, vast meadows, snow-capped mountain peaks and deserted volcanic plateaus. Constantly changing weather conditions, the change of day and night, enemies adapting to the environment, as well as characters encountered on the journey, will not let you relax during the passage.
Days Gone is set to launch on April 26th. The ESRB organization assigned the project an M rating (from 17 years old). Among the reasons - not only cruelty, but also scenes of a sexual nature, a demonstration of drugs. The PlayStation Store is open for pre-order: in addition to the extended edition at a record high price, the standard version is available for 4499 rubles.
