In Critical Mode, the main character, Sora, has their health and mana reduced by half, as well as the frequency of occurrence of situational commands and magic that the protagonist and his team can use. The update also brought new abilities, including Critical Counter, Critical Recharge, and Critical Converter for Sora. They are exclusive to Critical Mode and should give you the edge you need to progress through.

In addition to the new difficulty level, the update also introduced the ability to transfer keyblades from one saved game to another. After the transfer, the keyblades will return to their original characteristics, but in this way you will get access to powerful weapons from the very beginning of a new passage.

Kingdom Hearts III is out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
