KingStation 0.3a

KingStation 0.3a

KingStation 0.3a has been released - a multi-system emulator for classic gameplay.

The project is based on RetroArch, but focuses on ease of use without additional functionality and imbalance in games. For example, there are no cheats, changes in the passage of time and saving states.

Main changes in version 0.3a:

  • Added basic support for video and audio playback, allowing you to watch videos with image adjustments to suit your tastes.
  • The volume slider now looks like a TV slider.
  • Fixed delay in audio response to key presses.
  • The KingStation and RetroArch cores no longer fit directly together and require reassembly. The goal of KingStation is to recreate the environment of a system, identical on different devices, but the presence of overclocking, upscaling, texture replacement, and so on violate this principle.

You can download KingStation here, versions are currently available for Linux and Windows, but in the future it may be available for other systems (for example, Android).
