The department's statement says that the decision to lift quarantine was made against the backdrop of an improving epidemiological situation in the province. βFrom 00:00 hours (19:00 Moscow time) on March 25, with the exception of the Wuhan city area, road restrictions in Hubei province will be lifted and traffic entry and exit will be restored. People leaving Hubei will be able to travel based on the health code,β the National Health Commission said in a statement. The health code, or jiankanma, is a program that assesses people's risk of exposure to infection based on their movements.
As for Wuhan, the administrative center of Hubei province, restrictions in the city will last until 00:00 on April 8. After this, transit roads will be open, transport links will be restored, and people will be able to enter and leave the city.
