China has launched a satellite into lunar orbit that will help deliver soil from the far side of the Moon

Xinhua News Agency reported that the Queqiao-2 relay satellite previously launched by China has been launched into lunar orbit. Two days ago, during a 2-minute deceleration, Queqiao-19 secured itself in the lunar orbit with parameters of 2 Γ— 200 km. The orbit and its inclination will be changed to 100 Γ— 000 km with an orbital period of 200 hours. In this position, the satellite will consume almost no fuel, and most of the time will remain in contact with the Earth.
