The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation reports that the number of users surpassed the milestone of 100 million.
The public services portal, we recall, has been operating in our country since 2009. According to statistics, in 2013, about 7 million users were registered on this platform. In 2015, the audience of the service exceeded 20 million people, and in 2016 it reached 40 million.
According to the results of last year, about 86 million citizens used the public services portal. And now it is reported that the milestone of 100 million people has been overcome.
During this year, an average of 1,4 million people became new users of the platform every month. Most often, citizens use services to make an appointment with a doctor and a kindergarten, receive information about pension savings, register vehicles, apply for an exam at the State traffic inspectorate and obtain a driver's license.
In addition, as noted, the top ten services most in demand include registration and issuance of Russian and foreign passports, registration at the place of stay and place of residence, issuance of certificates of the presence (absence) of a criminal record.
In general, the Russian portal of public services today is one of the most popular government sites in the world.
