Chuwi has released a GT Box small form factor computer that uses a combination of the Intel hardware platform and the Microsoft Windows 10 Home operating system.
The device is enclosed in a case with dimensions of only 173 Γ 158 Γ 73 mm, and the weight is approximately 860 grams. You can use the novelty as a computer for everyday work or as a home multimedia center.
A rather old Core i3-5005U processor (Broadwell generation) with two cores (four instruction streams) that operate at a frequency of 2,0 GHz is used. The chip includes an Intel HD Graphics 5500 graphics accelerator.
The computer can carry up to 8 GB of RAM, an M.2 solid-state module and a 2,5-inch drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB.
There are Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless adapters, as well as an Ethernet network controller. Among the interfaces, it is worth mentioning USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI connectors, an SD reader.
