Panasonic has introduced the Lumix S Pro 16-35mm F4 lens, designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras equipped with an L-Mount bayonet mount.
The announced product is a relatively compact wide-angle zoom lens. Its length is 100 mm, diameter - 85 mm.
A high-speed and high-precision autofocus system based on a linear motor has been implemented. It is also possible to focus in manual mode.
The design includes 12 elements in nine groups. These are, in particular, three aspherical lenses that effectively prevent the occurrence of spherical aberrations and distortions. In addition, one element with ultra-low dispersion ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and one element with an ultra-high refractive index UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) are used.
The lens is protected from dust and water splashes. It can be used at temperatures down to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Other characteristics of the new product are given below:
