Canonical stops working with enterprises from Russia

Canonical announced the termination of cooperation, the provision of paid support services and the provision of commercial services for organizations from Russia. At the same time, Canonical said that it will not restrict access to repositories and patches with the elimination of vulnerabilities for Ubuntu users from Russia, as it believes that free platforms such as Ubuntu, Tor and VPN technologies are important for accessing information and ensuring communication under censorship. All income from paid subscribers from Russia received from the remaining services (for example, livepatch) will be used to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine.
