CloudLinux has announced plans to invest over a million dollars a year to develop a clone of CentOS, a new distribution called Lenix.
The CEO of the company, Igor Seletsky, said that the company will provide all the necessary infrastructure for the development of a new distribution as part of a non-commercial open source initiative.
CloudLinux makes money by developing a specialized distribution of the same name based on rhel / centos for the needs of hosting companies.
