Valve releases Steam Deck CAD files

Valve has published drawings, models and design data for the Steam Deck game console. The data is offered in STP, STL and DWG formats and is distributed under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0) license, which allows copying, distribution, use in your own projects and creation of derivative works, but subject to copyright, retain license and use only for non-commercial purposes.

Recall that the Steam Deck console is equipped with the SteamOS 3 operating system, based on Arch Linux and using a shell based on the Wayland protocol. SteamOS 3 ships with a read-only root filesystem, supports Flatpak packages, and uses the PipeWire media server. The hardware component is based on a SoC with a 4-core Zen 2 CPU (2.4-3.5 GHz, 448 GFlops FP32) and a GPU with 8 RDNA 2 compute units (1.6 TFlops FP32), developed for Valve by AMD. The Steam Deck also features a 7-inch touchscreen (1280x800, 60Hz), 16GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and microSD. Size - 298x117x49 mm, weight - 669 gr.
