We are talking about versions of these devices with 16 GB of RAM. Now, when choosing this amount of RAM, buyers are forced to purchase a computer based on an Intel Core i7 processor. Moreover, in the case of Surface Pro 6, the capacity of the solid state drive is at least 512 GB.

Upcoming device modifications will combine 16 GB of RAM with a less expensive Core i5 chip. We are talking about the Kaby Lake R generation Core i5-8350U product with four processing cores running at a clock frequency of 1,7 GHz (dynamically increasing to 3,6 GHz). The processor is capable of simultaneously processing up to eight instruction streams.

New versions of the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Book 2 will carry a 256 GB solid-state module. The computers will cost $1400 and $2000, respectively. Sales will start next month.
