The Japanese company Konami has denied recent rumors that it intends to revive Silent Hill together with Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Kojima Productions will return to the development of the canceled part of the series. The portal reported this with reference to the original source.
In an official statement, Konami North America PR said: “We are aware of all the rumors and reports, but we can confirm that they are not true. I understand that your fans were hoping for a different answer. This does not mean that we are slamming the door on the franchise - we are just not doing what the rumors say."
