Facebook is working on its own intelligent voice assistant. This is reported by the CNBC resource, citing information received from informed sources.
It is noted that the social network has been developing a new project since at least the beginning of last year. Employees of the division responsible for augmented and virtual reality solutions are working on the "smart" voice assistant.
No word yet on when Facebook plans to introduce its smart assistant. However, CNBC notes that the system will have to compete with such common voice assistants as Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant in the future.
