Butterscotch studio Shenanigans has announced that platformer builder Levelhead will be released on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android on April 30th. The game will be included in the catalogs of the Xbox Game Pass and Google Play Pass services.

“Levelhead is about bringing players together, and these days players are on different platforms,” said Sam Coster, co-founder of Butterscotch Shenanigans. “We're pushing the gaming industry standard for data portability, allowing players to easily grab and play their saves on any device.” We've created a seamless gaming experience that goes far beyond traditional platforms, from big-screen consoles to mobile convenience and keyboard precision—all without interruptions or unnecessary data limitations.”

With Levelhead, you can create levels in an intuitive editor and share them with the world. Hundreds of elements will be available to you, including enemies, obstacles, programmable switches, secrets, weather effects, music and power-ups. Users themselves decide in what style to make the level - puzzles, reaction tests, for cooperative passage (up to four players) or all together.

In addition, the designer has its own campaign in which you control the GR-18 delivery robot and teach it to run, jump and shoot. It consists of more than nine hundred hand-crafted levels, and by completing it you can unlock new avatars.

As co-founder Butterscotch Shenanigans noted above, Levelhead will support cross-play and cross-platform saves.
