The center of gravity is located as low as possible, which is explained by the presence of a battery pack. The vehicle can connect to the home's power grid and, using the Nissan Energy Share (Vehicle-to-Home) system, use the electricity stored in its battery to balance the energy consumption in the home.

Of course, the concept implements self-management technologies. They, in particular, help to make driving safer and more comfortable due to the ability not to keep your hands on the steering wheel when driving on the freeway within the same lane.

On-board systems have integration with the owner's smartphone. For example, smartphone-based ProPILOT Remote Park with Valet Parking can automatically find a parking space after the driver and passengers have exited the vehicle. You can also call a car from the parking lot via a cellular device.

Invisible-to-Visible (I2V) technology is mentioned. By correlating information from sensors outside and inside the car with data stored in the cloud, I2V can monitor the immediate environment of the car and anticipate what lies ahead, even if it is out of view of the people sitting in it, for example, around the corner of the house.

The look and proportions of the IMk reflect a minimalist aesthetic. The cabin has a cafΓ© or lounge-style vibe, with original textured bench-style seats, wood inserts, dark coffee-colored carpeting and hidden lighting fixtures.
