We have already reported that Google is designing the next generation of smartphones - the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL devices. Now there is a new piece of information on this topic.
Information found on the Android Open Source Project website reveals codenames for devices under development. It is reported, in particular, that the Pixel 4 model has the internal name Coral (βCoralβ), and the Pixel 4 XL version is Flame (βFlameβ).
It is curious that earlier the device under the name Coral was seen in the Geekbench benchmark database. Judging by the test, the device carries a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 6 GB of RAM, and the Android Q operating system, which is currently under development, is used as a software platform.
Thus, we can assume that the more powerful Flame device will also receive a Snapdragon 855 chip and at least 6 GB of RAM.
According to rumors, smartphones of the Pixel 4 series will support two SIM cards according to the Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) scheme - with the possibility of simultaneous operation of two slots.
The older model is credited with having two dual cameras and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the display.
