The state corporation Roscosmos does not intend to postpone the return of the ISS crew to Earth. This was reported by RIA Novosti, referring to information received from representatives of the state corporation.
Until now, the current crew of the International Space Station was scheduled to return from orbit on April 17. However, recently there have been rumors that this may not happen due to the spread of the new coronavirus.
βRoskosmos does not consider it expedient to postpone the return of the crew of the long-term expedition ISS-62 to Earth. Indeed, now there are a number of restrictions from the Kazakh side caused by quarantine measures. But Roskosmos is in cooperation with colleagues and is considering options for solving the problem, βthe state corporation said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus continues to spread across the planet. To date, more than 470 thousand people have been infected. The death toll has exceeded 21.
In Russia, 658 people are infected. Unfortunately, three victims have passed away.
